Recruitable buffed Damned Knights of the Realm for The Drowned
RECRUITABLE DAMNED KNIGHTS OF THE REALM
This mod primarily adds recruitable beefed up Damned Knights of the Realm to Cylostra’s faction The Drowned.
The unit is based on the Vampire Counts RoR Chillgeists. I have removed Vanguard Deployment and added the Frostbite weapon effect.
They also have 10 % missile block and the Lance formation
The unit is recruitable from Cylostra’s special ship upgrade ‘Cylostra’s Balcony’.
They benefit from Syreen tech and skill upgrades.
Available in custom battles for The Drowned.
CHANGES TO CYLOSTRA’S SUMMON
Additionally Cylostra’s summon is upgraded and her unique skills are changed.
Now ‘Beyond the Realm’ (the DKotR summon) is locked to level 16 and requires ‘Sacrilege’ (the Damned Questing Knights summon)
BALANCE
Yeah, adding fast cavalry to Vampire Coast nullifies one of the major weaknesses of the faction. Add to it a strong Ethereal unit with armourpiercing, slow aura and attack and we have an OP addition.
The only saving graces are that they require ship lvl 5 plus an expensive building to recruit and you need Cylostra level 16 to unlock the summon
I made this for my own enjoyment and, in my own opinion, they are very enjoyable, but if people want a weaker variant unlocked at an earlier stage of the campaign, I will make it.
KNOWN BUGS
in Cylostra’s unique skill line there is an annoying arrow. It’s minor and only visual. I will spend the evening on trying to fix it.
Aside from that everything works perfect on my end, but if you find everything wonky or broken, let me know and I’ll fix it.
