The Grand Exhibition Collection (necessary modules)

If you liked this item, please rate it up on Steam Workshop page.
Description:

Introduction: What does this mod do?

It takes the current set of event pictures and replaces them with paintings. Simple as that. But, then we take the extra care to give every event their specific image, so that when you see a picture of Isaac Newton it will actually be him. Or when France is sacked by the Swedes it will be a picture of the Parisian streets on fire.

Why so many different mods/modules? Which should I download?

The Grand Exhibition is divided up into modules to get around the file-size limitations on the EU4 workshop. To allow for a complete experience the modules are supposed to be downloaded in their entirety. We apologize for the inconvenience and clutter. But, who would have thought that a mod that adds thousands of individual images to the game takes up space. Haha. But, seriously. Download all.

The filled in areas on the map below indicate which regions we’ve finished the flavour events for. When we release modules we like to focus on specific regions to serve as the backbone for our content and research, and then we add on mechanics such as trade, warfare, development, uprisings, etc.

You can make sure you are kept up-to-date of new content by either following the main creator ‘Tinholt’, or to keep a close eye on the module verification system down below (which you’ll encounter in the nation-selection screen below the bookmarks). Once a new module is released we will unlock another button on the list. The buttons are merely visual, you can’t click them.

We’re aware that the current system gets cut-off for subscribers that play on lower resolutions. And, for this: we apologize. If you know how to implement a similar system that would also work for lower resolutions, then please get in contact.
