Enhanced Zoom and Surveyability
Simple mod that allows you to zoom in and out a lot further, and changes scales of a lot of models/objects. View your glorious empire from closer than ever before, or even view the entire map at once!
A simple mod that allows you to zoom in a little bit further, and allows you to zoom out so far that you can view the entire map at once even on 16:9 aspect ratio screens. The mod also changes the scale of objects like units, buildings and borders.
The main objective of this mod is to give you a better overview when playing as, or against, a nation which has some really small provinces (which are often added in map expansion/overhaul mods).
You could also utilize this mod to view the map at an angle, which allows you to take some scenic shots or just view your glorious empire from another perspective.
! – This mod is not Ironman Compatible, due to the way the checksum is calculated.
The mod should be compatible with almost all other mods. Unit packs may however contain conflicting changes, just like some map mods might (visual mods). Theatrum Orbis Terrarum (Carthoge Reloaded)’s border add-on, for example, does work, but may override some of the scale settings, resulting in borders with a larges width.
It is now possible to also zoom out further, allowing you to view the complete map at once. This also works for timelapses, which means you can now share timelapses of the whole map rather than having a small strip cut out of frame.
