Description:

Power Plants running on Coal, Oil, or Uranium can be decommissioned at any time after unlocking the Environmentalim civic. The project cost has been significantly reduced.

Rebalanced the role of decommissioning in the Climate Accords. The project no longer grants score. Instead, score is deducted for coal and oil power plants, and given for nuclear power plants and Renewable Energy Battery stations (with the Renewable Energy Complexity mod; see below for more info). Further, score is awarded for the regular project Industrial Zone Logistics.

If you do not want to destroy your power plants but still go green with them, I recommend my Renewable Energy Complexity mod which offers a completely carbon-neutral option for power plants which distributes power from renewable energy sources all across the empire. The mods are compatible, although you do not need this mod anymore if you use Renewable Energy Complexity.

This mod is a standalone component of the "Climate Balance" mod collection and requires Gathering Storm (link to collection above).
