Additional Dark Actions
Ports over a couple dark events, and adds a new chosen activity.
Smart Rounds – provides some ADVENT troops with better accuracy.
Holo Rounds – provides some ADVENT troops with rounds that mark their targets.
AP Rounds – provides some ADVENT troops with rounds that ignore armour.
Dragon Rounds – provides some ADVENT troops with rounds that set soldiers on fire.
Shatter Rounds – some ADVENT troopers will be more likely to crit with their shots.
Mind Shields – some ADVENT units will be immune to psionic attacks and flashbangs.
Advanced UFO Hunter – The aliens launch a UFO guaranteed to shoot down the Avenger.
Avenger Watch – completing missions can risk getting a UFO sent after the Avenger.
Favour of the Elders: a new activity for the Chosen, this can let a Chosen you’ve encountered become stronger, gaining two more strengths and losing one of their weaknesses. The Favoured Chosen will also gain knowledge at an increased rate.
This also counts as a level up.
I recommend getting bountygiver’s Expose Chosen Weakness mod ( https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1132573074&searchtext= ), to let you counteract that latter part, as it can kick in more than once as long as a Chosen has less than three weaknesses.
This activity can only be done as long as there’s not a living Favoured Chosen.
Early Avatar Deployment – a SITREP that can appear once you skulljack a Codex. Avatars will appear on the mission.
Dark Events and Chosen Activities will be added to in-progress games.
