Description:

This mod adds the EX41 ‘China Lake’ Grenade Launcher, a pump action grenade launcher. XCOM 2 needs more grenades, and grenade launchers, and this is the result. I’m not confident enough to call this version 1.0, so I put it to 0.8, so I can iron out some stuff.

FEATURES

-You can apply camo and custom colors to the China Lake.
-You can configure the mod to your liking.
-Custom Weapon Sounds for the China Lake.
-Weapon Icon for the China Lake.
-You can upgrade this to use throughout the campaign.

KNOWN ISSUES

-Needs custom animation for this weapon. I couldn’t use the shotgun anims because the weapon teleports to the hand while still holding the primary weapon. I would have to splice several animation frames from grenade launcher (equip/unequip part), add the shotgun firing animation in the middle. It’s beyond me, so for now, it uses the regular grenade launcher animation.
-Normal maps *might* be messed up. I did the best I could to fix it, but to some people, your best isn’t good enough.
-The weapon floats on your back.

F.A.Q

Q: When I go to Weapon Upgrade, the camo colors don’t apply to the weapon. Why?
A: That’s because you are just editing the primary weapon. Go to Soldier Customization > and find Weapon Colors (Under Armor Colors) to apply a different color to the secondary weapon (Note that it will change the primary weapon as well). To add a Weapon Camo to the China Lake, while you are still in soldier customization go to Props and scroll down until you see Weapon Camo. As far as I can tell, XCOM 2 does this by default.
