This version is as close as I’ll get to it being Standalone

The only real workshop additive you’ll need is the highlander, however
if you use Resistance Firearms Assets, and Resistance Firearms Attachments, Units will use G36C’s, M4’s M1014’s, and P90, Otherwise they’ll just use Tlp or wotc guns. On tier 3 they always use TLP and wotc weaponry.

Overview

This mod adds 11 new sitreps, 10 that spawn a third faction, who will attack both you and advent, and 1 that replaces alien forces with foundation troops. Each of the sitreps spawns a different MTF, each specialised in different kinds of warfare, having different weapons, stats and equipement, and providing different rewards.

Currently there are ten MTF’s:

MTF Epsilon-11 ("Nine-Tailed Fox")

Before the overhaul they were all this mod was about. Three kinds of units, Rookies, Gunners and leaders. Reasonably sound opponent, rewards somewhat overlap with "See no evil"

Their reward is scramble gear which will always drop from leaders on death. It protects from all mindspins, disorientation, stun grenades, and cognitohazards added by my other mods.

MTF Eta-10 ("See No Evil")

Foundation cognitohazard specialists. They are all equipped with scramble gear, therefore they’re immune to all mindspins, flash and stun grenades, and to cognitohazards. A strong and hard to defeat opponent due to high dodge stat. Their Path of rewards leads to Scramble Gear Mk2, which has double the aim / crit chance / hacking bonuses. When you get An upgrade kit, proving ground project becomes availible, but only if you completed the scramble gear analysys earlier. For people who play with foundation on their side (Team Changer), the upgrade needs an elerium core instead of the upgrade kit.

MTF Beta-7 ("Maz Hatters")

Foundation Haz mat Units. They are all immune to all sorts of elemental damage types, which includes fire, frost, poison, acid, electricity (Sectopod lightning field, whiplash), and elerium poisoning. Two types of units, Grunts and a leader, who drops Broken Maz Hat vest, which starts their project at proving grounds.

MTF Epsilon-9 ("Fire Eaters")

Foundation Fire Wielding units. They wear Hellweaves and are immune to frost and fire. Two types of units, Pyros and gunners. Fire eater’s equippement can be recovered from the battlefield. It can later be fixed for your soldiers to use in the field in a special proving ground project. It gives your soldiers immunity to fire and frost, health and armor at the cost of mobility, along with one free fire grenade, free hellfire charge, and will provide Incendiary ammo for the soldier.

MTF Nu-7 ("Hammer Down")

Foundation Warfare Batalion. Their squads are always bigger, but They deal lower damage and have lower health values to compensate. Hammer Down leaders drop a fun little thing called stun grenade, that can be thrown way further than a flashbang, and will stun every unit in sight for 2 turns.

MTF Lambda-12 ("Pest Control")

Foundation Eradicators, that specialise in battleing insectoid anomalies. In XCom 2, they specialise in utilizing dangerous chemicals, for warfare purpouses. They can also use a tranq pistol, which stuns targeted enemy for 1 turn.

MTF Gamma-13 ("Asimov’s Lawbringers")

Mtf formed to investigate and combat Anderson Robotics GOI, which was basicly a company that messed with creating and selling AI and robotic SCP’s. In XCom 2 they are a mechanized warfare unit, that specializes in combating robotic units, while utilizing some of them at the same time. Half of the squad is made up of Foundation’s mec’s, while the other half is made up of grunts. All of them are equipped with Bluescreen rounds.

MTF Omicron Rho ("The Dream Team")

Oneroi units, which take form of psionic ghosts in the field.

MTF Tau-5 ("Samsara")

Cybernetic Ultra badasses. More info in pinned discussion

MTF Zeta-9 ("Mole Rats")

Mtf specializing in exploration of sub-terran anomalies and locations. I’ve run out of space to write things here rest in the mtf content discussio

Foundation Lockdown

Sitrep that replaces all aliens in the area with Foundation pods lead by MTF leaders and rarely Samsara.

FAQ

The game froze when it went to the MTF turn!
You didn’t have the highlander installed. Please install it.

Enemies Appear with solid black parts of uniforms!
That means i screwed up shader compiling when i updated the mod. Please write a comment if that’s the case!

The mission ended when there were still some of these enemies left?

Team Changer Config

You can change the mtf squads to be friendly in configs. All you have to do is change TeamChangerValue=0 to TeamChangerValue=1 in XComGameData of this mod. have in mind that will change requirements of scramble research to sectoid autopsy, and you won’t be able to get any scramble gears in the field. Simlar mechanic is in place for all other special rewards.
