Description:

Victor ran a therapy office in Porogen, where he specialized in treating patients with depression, OCD, and anxiety. When the riots began, he started to see a huge influx of patients – those who had lost loved ones, those who were troubled by horrific sights such as murder and looting, and those who were coping with the fact that they partook in illegal activities to survive. Victor became nervous as the amount of patients increased – he became overwhelmed trying to help all of them. Eventually, he had to close his office after not sleeping for three days straight.

Victor was completely aware of the fact that a war would be coming to Porogen very soon, so he proceeded to look for a way out. He offered his psychology services to some local hospitals, where he helped some patients work through their issues and get them on the road to recovery. However, his chances of escape were ruined when he was taken in by the military.

At first, he was called in to help a few soldiers overcome their PTSD. It took several weeks, but Victor managed to help them work through all their problems (the hoarded amounts of medical supplies helped treat this quite a bit). Despite promising to release Victor afterwards, however, the soldiers kept him prisoner on the base so that they could use him to treat other soldiers and keep them in decent medical help. When Victor attempted to refuse his services, they threatened him with physical violence. Unable to fight back, Victor ceded and stayed at the base.

His only opportunity for escape came during a rebel attack on the base. Victor, without care, brutually murdered the soldier guarding him, grabbed his rifle, and ran as fast as he could. He managed to escape unharmed, minus the horrific sound of the soldier being beaten viciously with a rusty pipe being stuck in his head, and found safety in a house outside of Porogen. Despite the war bearing down on him mentally, he is fully prepared to offer his assistance to survivors to help them make it through the war.
