Description:

Commander, one of our specialists has less ability with computers and hacking than I do, and that’s not much. But dont worry, we’ve put them through a marksmanship program, and they’re already a fine medic. We’ve taken to calling this Specialist variant the Shepard, and we think they’ll be great at keeping a watch over our soldiers in the field.

I have always wanted some alterntatives to the Specialist for important functions, such as healing. Those of you with a keen eye will note the similarities between this class and the Medical Marksman, which I thought filled an important role, however I was never exactly happy with how that class was laid out – too much like a grab bag of perks. So I thought I would make my own class that I would never be happy with instead! The Shepard is a much more focused class overall.

The Shepard excels as the rear guard of your team, able to provide medical support at long range, while still offering fire support and carrying a share of the busy work, alien shooting. This can free up your Specialists to focus on hacking those pesky sectopods. By default, there will be only one of this class in your ‘forced deck’ but you can train more in the GTS.

This class has no GTS perk, as I dont know how to get that to work. I make no warranty abut the bugginess or otherwise of this class. I am not a good enough modder for such things.

Thanks to all the good folk of the XCOM modding community for answering my cries for help.
