Description:

This mod is a part of ‘SKILL MOD’.

ENGLISH VERSION.

This mod adds duel-exclusive abilities for Sentinel/Vanguard/Champion.

And additionally, little tweaking about the duel system.

** Caution **
This mod adds a few duel-exclusive ‘melee attack’ abilities, but I found that AI never uses ‘melee attack’ abilities in duels (except ‘God of War’).

Consequently, in some contexts, players are way much advantageous in duels.

ABOUT ADDITIONAL ABILITIES

Basically this mod additionally puts ‘duel-exclusive abilities’ into existing skill nodes which unlock battle abilities.

Duel-exclusive abilities are like below and please look images for details (duration, cool-down and so on.)


Now has a mechanism related to fatigue, holding a strong component with a higher defense stat & additional abilities.

a. ‘Will-forging’
– Added to ‘Adamant Resolve’.
– Invincible + fatigue recovery.

b. ‘Stance – Counter’
– Added to ‘Tempered Deflection’.

I defined a term: ‘Stance change’ to represent an ability which has a contact effect additionally.

A contact effect will be applied to an enemy in melee (and it is not possible to evade.)

Currently, I cannot found to express a target to which the effect of this ability is applied.

As you can see in the tool-tip, the effect of the phase 1 applied to a ‘caster’ himself, yet, the effect of the phase 2 is applying to an ‘opponent’.


Now has a mechanism related to health points, luring an opponent with a lower health points and reversing the situation.

a. ‘Rage-burst’
– Added to ‘Roar of the Beast’.
– Health recovery & additional AP-damage buff.

b. ‘Deathwish’
– Added to ‘Flame of the Phoenix’.
– Huge damage & short cool-down.


A nuker, can inflict a huge damage by using a combination of abilities.

a. ‘Overpower’
– Added to ‘Binding Fury’.
– Same damage with ‘Binding Fury’, melee defense debuff.

b. ‘Vainglory’
– Added to ‘Earthen Rampart’
– Cool-down reduction.

I also defined a term: ‘Active Complexity’ to represent an ability which has a buff & debuff to a caster.

Also, each one of aforementioned abilities also linked with some heroes’ unique abilities, and in the case of heroes have an ability which belongs to another class, also they will got a corresponding duel-exclusive ability.

Currently, Lu Bu / Xu Chu / Taishi Chi are ruled out considering their concept & OP status

ABOUT THE CHANGE ON THE DUEL SYSTEM

Also, this mod change the general duel system a little.

1. Accept Duel Buff

When a proposed side ‘accepts’ a duel, the ally of the proposed side will get a morale buff & fatigue recovery.

2. Adjusting penalties form interruptions

Interruption penalties are generally moderated as below.

a. When an opponent is weaker
– (within time) morale -20, 90s
– (not within time) morale -15, 75s

b. When an opponent is stronger
– (within time) morale -10, 45s
– (not within time) morale -5, 30s

c. Equal duel
morale -10, 60s

COMPATIBILITY

NO CEO & STARTPOS.

Probably this mod will be compatible with any other mods, but will not with a mod which change ‘BATTLE_DUEL_EFFECTS_TABLES’.

And also If unique id numbers in this mod are also used in another mod, problems can happen.
