Description:

This is the version of Gladio Et Sale for the 1.2 open beta ONLY. Mod features between GES and GES-alt are the same it just works with the two different versions.

Feature List:

* Expansion of the map to include China with unique mechanics for China’s ‘Hundred Schools of Thought’ religion

* Assimilate and conversion buttons removed from pops; these processes are driven over time and can be influenced by governor policies and the building of temples

* Added military traditions for Chinese, Illyrian/Dacian, and Iberian

* Added trade goods for copper, lead, silver, opium, wax, porcelain, and jade

* Added Illyrian, Anatolian and Caucasian culture groups; cultures added to each culture group to represent foreigners acclimated to but never completely of your culture (E.G. ‘Hellenized’). Moved Thracian culture to the Dacian group; added a Hellenic Thraikes culture and split Thracian pops between Thracian and Thraikes.

* Changes to the game setup with new nations added in Italy and Dacia.

* Streamlined system for pop movement; province can be set as a target and multiple pops transferred to and from

* Added EU-style mission system for Rome, Carthage and Egypt (only those nations right now)

* Rebalanced diplomacy, specifically subjugation willingness and ability to convert tributary subjects to client states over time

* Removal of religious power and replacement with omens which can be assigned to different blessings for benefits to your nation

* Removal of civic power; most former uses now use oratory power except for inventions which are gained over time based on researcher skill levels.

* Added a number of new global and unique blessings to spend omens on

* 6 province-level buildings added: Granary, Magistracy, Training Camp, Library, Amphitheatre, and Hippodrome which give benefits to all cities in the province

* New city buildings added: Court, Temple, Local Theatre, and Library; vanilla Granary is now Aqueduct and Training Camp is Encampment
* Temple buildings can be dedicated to your choice of deity for a small local bonus

* Ability to upgrade ports for increased bonuses to commerce and shipbuilding

* Added two new unit types (javelins and slingers) for more variety in ranged units

* Added baseline terrain values for combat abilities of various units
