Description:

The ADVENT Avenger is an ultra late ADVENT leader (Force 16-20). He’s super powerful, but not unfairly. He’s probably almost as good as your best XCOM soldier at that time at max rank.

There was a lack of good, competent powerful leadership from the ADVENT forces for lategame.

-= ENCOUNTERS =-

The ADVENT Avenger can only be encountered as a Pod Leader. You can never see more than 1 at a time (you might get 2 if you have 2 pods, but not in the same one), and he is the only unit in the game right now that as the legal right to have an ADVENT Officer as a follower. This means you could meet a pod with an ADVENT Avenger, a Captain Elite, and then other ADVENT troopers. He can lead regular missions or terror missions which are his favorite. He can be in the Avenger Defense but not as a reinforcement.

-= WEAPONRY =-
He carries a powerful Mag Pistol (same power as Captain Elite), a Proximity Mine (same as XCOM), a Stun Baton (equivalent to a Stunlancer Elite) and a NanoMedikit (same as XCOM). He knows how to use them. The Medikit provides him the same immunities you have.

He uses an ADVENT General M3 gun so if you have a mod that changes the General to be more powerful, he will also wield that version of the gun.

-= ABILITIES =-
Zero In, Mark Target, Volatile Mix, Salvo, Untouchable, Blast Padding, Holo Targeting, Sentinel, Blood Trail, Suppression, Quickdraw, Deep Cover, Hunker Down, Blademaster, Reflex (Skirmisher ability), Full Throttle.

-= AI =-
He has his own AI from ADVENT Future that he uses so it’s required. It also contains the Pistol assets necessary for him/her to wield one (The unit can be male or female). If you install this mod without ADVENT Future, he will not move at all.

If you are familiar with my AI work, the ADVENT Avenger is somewhat more conservative on the Stunlancing but he will still use it enough to be a threat especially if you stand next to him and end the turn.

He can toss a mine and is not shy. The mine adds tactical depth to XCOM decisions compared to straight up rockets.

The Pistol is used sparingly, mostly to finish off foes at a distance that are flanked to save ammo or as a first action to follow up with the Rifle.

He can heal himself or allies as necessary.

-= LOOT =-
The ADVENT Avenger has his own loot table, but he drops a Captain Corpse like usual. For the moment, he drops exactly the same thing as an equivalent Captain but in the future he will have increased chances for PCS or end game weapon attachments over other units.

-= MIND CONTROL/DOMINATION/HACK =-
It is not impossible to succeed, but he has extremely high Willpower and Hack Defense.

-= DARK EVENTS =-
The Avenger supports Dark Events that affect other units (Bleeding Rounds, Bending Reed, etc.).

-= APPEARANCE =-
Model made by Deadput, recolor of the regular General.

-= COMPATIBILITY =-
