Mars Universalis is a mod created by EmperorPenguin, Firesoul, and our contributors. A thousand years ago, a catastrophe took place which destroyed all life on Earth and rendered the planet permanently uninhabitable. Only two waves of ships escaped. The first wave arrived shortly after the disaster. The people aboard landed all over Mars, and became what are now known as the Remnants. The second wave arrived 95 years before game start, having been knocked off course. The new arrivals are referred to as the Young Colonies, and they’ve disrupted all of the numerous societies of Mars.
We’re looking for volunteers to help us make this mod better. In particular, we’re hoping to attract:
Coders: Creating new events and event chains for the mod.
Writers: Writing unit names and descriptions, national idea sets, etc. We’re currently working on the lore of the Olympian remnant, so we could do with volunteers to help us to do that faster.
Translators: English to Spanish, French or German.
Artists: Mostly creating event pictures, but we’ll take what we can get. We’re hoping to find someone who can create new buildings for some of the different cultures. This requires knowledge of blender/a similar program, vertex shadowing, and how to convert files into Paradox compatible models.
