Description:

This changes many, most, in fact almost all of the written content into the stellaris or century gothic font. So, what makes this mods different from other mods that do the same? Absolutely no conflict with other mods that change the interface.

– How?
Most mods I’ve seen edit the .gui files. These files describe to the game engine how to generate the interface. This includes images to use for buttons, backgrounds for screens, the size of country shields in any window you open. Where to put any text or sliders or buttons. And the font and font size for all those elements.
Instead of editing the .gui files, this mod simply replaces the font files being used instead of altering the interface files.

– Pros of using this?
Like I said, it’s compatible with any mod that edits the .gui files since it doesn’t make any edits itself. Any mod that does not make changes to the font, absolutely no conflict possible.
So, it’s compatible with a mod that changes say …. the colour of the interface. Or one that changes the size of an interface section. Or one that pretties up a couple of UI elements.

– Cons of using this?
Since this mod does not use the .gui files, it can’t tell the game engine where exactly to place text. This means some text will seem a little out of place, like it should be a one or two pixels down or to the left. This should be visible in some of the screenshots as well.
This is not fixable in this mod. As said before, positions for text and images/symbols are set in the .gui files. This mod intentionally does not edit .gui files.

Development note:
Since patch 1.31, the goal of this mod is achieved by having an override file of core.gfx, wherein is defined which files are used for the font types referred to in .gui files. In earlier versions, the actual font files were replaced, as well as the eventwindow.gui file.
Due to it being an _override file instead of a replacement of core.gfx, I’m expecting the mod to maintain maximum compatibilty with all other mods available.

Naturally, Ironman and Achievement compatible.
