Immersive Events
This mods adds 18 new events to Total War: Three Kingdoms. Most events are choice-driven dilemmas based on character traits and situations, but that’s not all. You’ll also experience character specific scenarios inspired by the Romance of the Three Kingdoms books.
My core design philosophy is two-fold: I want to create events that instill more personality into the game while also adding interesting decisions in managing the player’s characters’ desires. This will slowly turn generic generals into a memorable cast. At the same time, unique events inspired by the books will add even more depth to historical characters.
My first priority is to create events for every personality trait (with a mix of good, bad, and neutral that doesn’t throw off game balance). There is even the potential for some really cool dynamic storylines (think multi-event, choice-driven, trait-impacting narratives), but unfortunately creating even a single event takes A LOT of effort. Planning, writing, balancing, and testing events is a huge endeavor. As such, donations will drive forward the progress of this mod. Currently, these events will fire up to every 10 turns (frequency will increase as events are added).
This mod was created for maximum compatibility so it should work with almost any mod. There are events that use personality traits added by Yellow Turban Rebellion, but the mod SHOULD work without them (you just won’t see some events). You may also find some choices more impactful when using the Better Diplomacy mod.
