Frackin’ Universe – Redone BYOS Starter Ship
Replaces the old, odd looking ship with a much more sleek and logical one.
Did you ever look at the original default ship and think "Why is this design so odd" or "Why does this have no actual thrusters to move?" (The correct answer is actually to give a reason to improve, but we all will do that eventually. This design is still bad.) Well, now I’ve provided a new design for you to start in! Featuring a longer and slimmer design, with two small compartments for the thrusters that are a good space to store fuel or place FTL Drives. You also get a back window, and a glass window using the new 1.4 sloped glass! The whole shebang.
The ship was designed with parts including the Decorative Medium FTL Flames to not affect progression by giving an unfair starting advantage. These can, of course, be replaced at a later date with some work. The design also features, as mentioned, sloped glass from 1.4, which allows for a nice window at the front.
Oh, and the doors open when the ship is still deactivated. While not really a real issue, they should be deactivated based on the original ship, but the door for the Teleporter Room seemed a good tradeoff.
