Ryukyu

Unique Ability: Shinryo
During Normal Ages, cities with an established Governor yield +1 Production on Coastal tiles. Yield an additional +1 Production and +1 Culture during Golden Ages. Unlock Shipbuilding after discovering Celestial Navigation.

Unique Unit: Shinko-sen
Unique Trade unit that replaces the Trader. Yields +1 Great Person points per turn while within two tiles of a foreign Harbor (does not stack per Harbor). Spawns with a one-time promotion, providing three Great People classes to choose from. Cannot be plundered on water tiles (and can always be plundered on land).

Unique District: Kumemura
Unique district that replaces the Campus. +1 Science for every adjacent Harbor, Commercial Hub, Government Plaza, Fishing Boat, or every two Coastal tiles. Provides +1 Trade Route capacity if this city doesn’t have a Market or Lighthouse (and vice-versa).

Sho Shin

Unique Ability: The Great Days of Chuzan
Expending Great Merchants or Great Scientists grants one Governor Title. Receive one Governor Title after settling your first city.

Unique Unit: Yukatchu
Unique Medieval era support unit. Can only be purchased with Gold. Within owned territory, adjacent land and naval units receive +2 Combat Strength, and combat victories yield Science equal to 33% of the defeated unit Strength.

Respects civilizations with a strong economy and vibrant culture. Despises those who struggle to generate income.
