Hooni’s Random Character Creator + Heritage Mod
Firstly, under the game rules menu (at the bottom) you have an option to create a random character. This character will replace the currently selected ruler.
Secondly, if you have created a custom character, randomly generated character or the character you are playing has no lineage, then you may use the "find ancestry decision" to join an existing dynasty or become a cadet branch of that dynasty
Or maybe you want become a b’stard to your estranged lowborn father? It is up to you.
You will be given series of questions and the event will determine your heritage
Example:
You want Haestein from 867 to be Ragnarr’s son and become brothers with Ivar and Halfdan
Q: Could you tell me about your father?
A man who made a name for himself without any titles
Q: Do you have any siblings?"
I think I must have been a middle child
Q: What was your dynasty known for?
Not many people know of my dynasty
Q: Where was your place of birth?
I wouldn’t be able to walk there
Q: Did you adopt a new culture or religion during your stay here?
No
Q: Anything else?
I heard he was quite a warrior
Q: Was there anything you liked about him?
Any answer but "He was very patient with me"
Q: Anything particular that stands out about your father?
He was a strong man
