This mod updates and expands on work previously done by MINOS, removing bonuses the AI gets and penalties the human player gets during campaign play that give the AI advantages over the player factions, such as increased heal rates, cheaper units costs, or faster unit training and research.

There are also a few minor bug fixes for the auto-resolver included.

This mod will generally decrease the campaign’s difficulty, as the AI gets some pretty legitimately nonsense cheats enabled by default. They heal faster, take less damage, make more money, pay less for everything, build everything faster, etc…

But if you were playing on normal before, you could apply this mod, then bump the difficulty up to hard or very hard to compensate. If you were playing on hard, bumping it up to very hard or legend might be appropriate. If you’re already beating the AI on legendary with their cheats on…well, you’re a badass.

An additional note is the AI cheats also don’t seem to be equally fair vs all player factions, some were screwed far worse than others, so with them removed, this puts them back on even footing.

This is especially good for playing co-op campaigns, since you can focus more on co-ordination and empire building, rather than constantly needing to defend against AI armies and hordes that are prioritizing human players over other AIs and rebuilding their whole army in only 2-3 turns every time you kill them.
