This mod allows player to form countries / nations based on culture. It supports over 700+ nations.
Details
Whenever I played a custom nation I was missing other mods features around missions and events, which are defined to build-in countries. When playing just build-in country I was missing that national ideas do not match goal of my campaign. This mod is to resolve this issue. It allows for a lot of countries to be restored if player has given culture and is located in given region. Nation is bound to culture and usually is for countries, which cannot be formed otherwise.
You also cannot do it from end-game tag (like Spain, Commonwealth, Italy) to not exploit new missions.
Almost all countries all supported if you have its culture and province in home region/continent. Over 700+ nations all over the word.
Settings (with (FC) in name) to adjust mod for your needs.
- Enable AI to form countries (otherwise only player can). AI is always limited to create countries only from custom nation.
- Enable Subjects (otherwise only independent nation can).
- Enable in-game tag (otherwise only custom-nation can change tag).
- Enable Post-colonial countries (like Texas or Brazil) can be formed.
- Enable forming countries multiple times (by default disabled to avoid exploits).
- Enable forming countries based on accepted culture (by default only primary culture is used to avoid strange tag switch). So you can start as Lithuania and form Kiev or as Aragon from Catalonia etc.
- Remove/Apply all player restrictions with one click.
Compatibility
This mod adds additional decisions. It doesn’t change any game file and should be compatible with other mods, as long as cultures, continents and super-regions are same as vanilla.
