Description

Enhanced Terrain is a mod that looks to bring more colors, saturation and depth to the somewhat flat vanilla textures of Imperator Rome.

This mod is still a work in progress, as I would like to completely overhaul the vanilla graphics in the future.

Features:
– New grass/plains texture

– New Farm Texture (more realistic, not 3D)

– New ‘Light Sand’ Texture

– Somewhat darker oceans

– Somewhat ‘bluer’ rivers

– Better road texture (Less sandy, rockier)

– Colossus is now brass, you just built it, why would it oxidize and turn green in a day?!

Known Issues:

– Textures in East Asia / North Asia / Eastern Europe look very repetitive, this is because the terrain map just doesn’t take into account anything in that region

– The Textures Look The Same as Vanilla / The Mod Doesn’t Work! This is because Imperator Rome sometimes decides not to override the vanilla textures, or the Steam Workshop decides that it doesn’t want to work.

Fixes for this problem:
Install Directly into the mod folder

Drag and drop enhancedterrain and Enhanced Terrain.mod directly into the mod folder (if you don’t have a mod folder, create one in the Imperator folder!)
