Talos
Talos is a character who creates shockwaves instead of tears! His quakes will slowly charge a bar next to his health that can be spent on an even more powerful earthquake! Note that the bar may be obscured while using a hud offset.
Once you gain enough charge, press the swap key to create an earthquake around yourself that destroys everything in its way.
Be careful! Talos’ quakes will hurt him if you get too close! Since he can only use red hearts, it’s very easy to lose your devil deal, or even downright die!
In exchange for the power of earth, Talos cannot use soul hearts or black hearts, as they are all converted into eternal hearts, and empty heart containers are permanently removed. Why? Because otherwise you’ll win too easily… and I guess the actual mythological Talos doesn’t have a soul since he’s an automaton… or something.
