Play as Rebekah, Isaac’s secret admirer! She’s a quiet bookworm who likes to write stories and is secretly in love with Isaac. As her love for him grows, the hearts she obtains grant her astonishing abilities as she storms the basement to find her future wedded husband. Wait, isn’t it a little too early for that??

A pot filled with genuine love and a pinch of craze, nothing stops Rebekah in reaching Isaac to marry him, as parallel to her Bible counterpart with the same name. However, she doesn’t know his ideal woman!

Rebekah is a character that can change her personality to fit the needs of her husband. Each personality corresponds to each of the different types of hearts in the game, (Red, Soul, Eternal, Black, Gold, Bone and ???), and it changes her character to be the perfect woman!

She has a special dash move, activated by double-tapping your arrow keys or controller knobs, and a special attack, activated by your Drop key + double-tapping by your attack key choice. Each personality also gives unique special dash moves and special attack barrages that give you unique and fun (or Nicalis style rage-inducing) experience! Using a special attack comes with a price, however.

If you accidentally used Ctrl but don’t want to barrage a special attack, you could use Ctrl again to cancel your barrage. If you are using different controls or is using a controller, Ctrl is also the drop key.

Changing personalities as Rebekah is easy. After defeating the boss of any given floor, Rebekah mirror will spawn in the middle of the room. It shows the different kinds of hearts you currently hold, one at a time. When you find the personality you want to change into, touch the mirror change Rebecca to that mode! (of course, the heart you selected is removed as a as penalty) Afterwards, the mirror disappears.

If you are far away from the mirror, it quickly shifts from one heart to the other. You can also get close to the mirror, making the heart transitions slower. Just a useful tip just in case you are impatient!

If you want to get picky, blow up the mirror to get all kinds of hearts in the game! This way, you can also have new ways to get new modes with this method! However, you lose your ability to change a mode in that floor, so be wise!

On a new run, Rebekah can also randomly start with any heart type along with a red heart and an empty heart container. This gives you an advantage in having randomized experiences with each personality, each time!

Each personality has their own attributes, dash moves and special attacks. Sometimes, they come with unique features that make them stand out, changing your game style completely.

Most personalities’ barrages has their own unique interactions and synergies, so keep a big eye on that!

Become the nerdy and reserved Red Heart bookworm, or you can become the aloof Soul Heart Wizoob. You can become the princess-y and royal Gold Heart lady. or you could become "a bad girl" and be the mysterious and composed Black Heart. In contrast, become holy and be the wise and mature Eternal Heart or you can be the dumb cute and primitive Bone Heart.

Enhance your heart mode through marriage!

Rebekah has unlocks as well, and like any vanilla character, she unlocks new items depending on which final boss she defeats. Completing every single final boss unlocks a last item as well, so find that out for yourself!

Lunchbox – On pickup, you drop three random hearts of any type.
Miraculous Womb – Spawns two orbitals that look like her precious twin sons, Jacob and Esau. They shoot similar to Incubus with their own damage and tear rate.
Cursed Spoon – On damage, a mouth from the ground up swallows you whole, spewing tears in every direction while it protects you in its teeth.
Dice of Fate – Using this active item, it randomly changes your hearts to different heart types.
Isaac’s Locks – Holding this trinket, in entering a special room the first time, there is a chance that the room will spawn a reroll machine.
Eternal Bond – Spawns a tiny companion to help you battle enemies and gives gifts to you! The companion can be Isaac if you are Rebekah, and Rebekah if you aren’t Rebekah.
Love = Power – The more red hearts you have, the more damage you gain, but the more empty heart containers, the more speed you gain.
Lovesick – You occasionally emit a seductive aura that charms enemies. The charmed effect also works like poison now.
Typical Rom-Com – Using this active item allows you to attack with a random barrage.
Snap – Your heartbeat becomes stronger, repelling enemies. The more hurt you are, the more your heartbeat beats and if you are critically hurt, you "snap" and cry more often.
Unrequited Love – Using this active item allows you to throw a sharp chain towards enemies. Pull the rope to make them suffocate and bleed.

(If there are any bugs, do tell me :p the mod is not yet done yet but it will get more updates! if I can even program it in, maybe Repentance will give Rebekah two more modes to play with! Who knows?)
