More Mission Variants
Adds additional mission variants to the game. Or, well, the one variant for now, at least.
This mod currently adds:
Turf War – a variation on the outbreak mission type, this adds a small squad of random enemies (they can be Shrike, Sacred Coil, Progeny, etc) that are hostile against the normal starting enemies.
Note that currently these enemies bend the rules a bit: they won’t have interleaved turns but will instead take a normal turn once both XCOM and normal hostiles have taken their actions.
Turf War works as part of the Outbreak mission family: it has a chance to be used every time the game checks to use a mission type that uses that specific mission family. (I don’t think anybody messes around with this, so this should work fine).
