Stargate – The Park
I am proud to present, Stargate, a Dragon’s Lair community park. Building a park centered around the Stargate franchise has been a dream of mine since the very first day I played this game. I always thought it impossible until TMTK was released. It was then I really started kicking around the idea to others and to my pleasant surprise there were many that felt the same way and with that, this park began. Over the last year, we have added many TMTK pieces built by the community and our group has worked hard to create custom items. In total there are 178 unique TMTK items, with over half made specifically for this park.
Stargate Park is split up into 2 areas the franchise is built on; The very old (ancient Egypt/SG1) and the futuristic (Atlantis). In total the park contains; 5 Coasters, 13 Flat Rides, 3 Track Rides, Monorail Transport(3 stations), 2 Hotels, 2 Restaurants and dozens of shops and facilities.
It is a big park but not completely loaded, frame rate is still pretty good but it will take time to load. A first time download of all TMTK items takes about 5 minutes and another 5 minutes to load the park on my average machine. It’s worth the wait. Peep limit on the park has been set low to help slower machines load the park. Once loaded, change to your liking. I had the park set at 10,000 peeps when taking most of the shots for the videos and saw very little drop in frame rates.
