Description:

It is sad that feraxis releases dlc for 1-2 passes without proper integration of new modes in the main game.
ATTENTION: Use it only when starting the game in apocalypse mode. If you try to run this mod without it, your game will most likely not start.

This mod changes probability of various disasters in apocalypse mod. I keep regular disasters on stage 7 and their probability equals the disaster level 4. Before stage 7 probability of random disasters equals the disaster level 3. So It make you feel the apocalypse coming but you can still continue play without having city destroyed on each turn.

List of changes:

• On the lakes from comets you can now sail on ships (previously were impassable);
• Only 70% of volcanoes are active (previously 100);
• You start at the level of emissions CO2 = 0, as in normal game (previously 1 on the second turn);
• The chances of disasters are reduced to the level of occurrence without an apocalypse mode at the disaster level equal to 3 (Heavy);
• At the time when the apocalypse comes, events start to occur more often, as at disaster level 4 in the regular game;
• Comets no longer hit cities with 100% accuracy. Instead, their falls are completely random. However, they can still destroy your city;
• Comet’s fall may occur before the apocalypse, although the chances are low;
• When the apocalypse comes, comets fall a little more often, but not as often as in the original apocalypse;
• When the apocalypse occurs, Solar Flares occur frequently, slightly less often than in the original apocalypse

I can’t to give you probability quantification because feraxis in the game use the parameter called "OccuraciesPerGame" for each disaster which I don’t know how to interpritate. So that is numbers and you can interpritate it as you wish:

• Comets On stage 7:
o (Without mod) "OccurrencesPerGame" of Comets that 100% strikes your city = 200
o (Without mod) "OccurrencesPerGame" of Comets that falls on random territory = 400
o (With mod) "OccurrencesPerGame" of Comets that 100% strikes your city = 0
o (With mod) "OccurrencesPerGame" of Comets that falls on random territory = 5

• Comets before stage 7:
o (Without mod) Disabled
o (With mod) "OccurrencesPerGame" of Comets that falls on random territory = 2

• Solar Flares On stage 7:
o (Without mod) "OccurrencesPerGame" = 50
o (With mod) "OccurrencesPerGame" = 30

• Solar Flares before 7:
o (Without mod) "OccurrencesPerGame" = 1
o (With mod) "OccurrencesPerGame" = 3

For comparison that is volcano’s "OccurrencesPerGame" with the disaster level 4 in original Gathering Storm:

• "RANDOM_EVENT_VOLCANO_CATASTROPHIC" OccurrencesPerGame="4"
