Description:

Chimera Heroes is a rework of the WotC Hero classes using abilities from CPP Framework.

This is intended as an optional companion mod for Chimera Classes.

This mod replaces the skill tree sets of the vanilla Templar, Skirmisher and Reaper classes. Weapon sets remain the same, but custom community perks add new strategic depth.

Class | New Perk Paths | Role / Meta ————————————————————————————– Skirmisher | Praetor / Skirmish / Wrath Highly mobile, gladiatorial style combat. Reaper | Stealth / Saboteur / Reaper Recon, with occasional hit & run. Templar | Psiblade / Focus / Templar Aggressive psionic melee.

New skill trees for each Hero class, plus custom AWC decks.
50+ new community perks available to learn
Over 400+ unique nicknames for each class
Bonus fix for broken vanilla Skirmisher Photobooth quotes.
Bonus 87 new SPARK nicknames
Long War Brigadier Rank 8 – includes patch for vanilla classes!

Compatibility:

Incompatible with other mods that also edit vanilla Hero Classes, including:

Somewhat compatible with other regular class mods. Please see CPP Framework for possible conflicts.

Issues? Please clear your .ini cache and try a new game first.

Clearing the user config cache is really important for stability and resolves many issues. It should be done every time you switch up your mod list. Follow the XCOM Community Wiki for guidance.
