There is enormous amount of content, but I will try to include here as much as I can:
- New buildings.
- New decisions.
- New institution.
- Customizable start – optional choices that allow you to change starting setting (Form Italy, for example)
- New country flags and colors.
- New sound effects (mostly for religions that didn’t have any).
- New province modifiers.
- New cultures.
- Money no longer useless – added dozens of ways of spending it.
- National values.
- New events and changes to existing ones (mostly concerning national values).
- New age with objectives and abilities.
- Changes to existing ages and ideas.
- New governments and reforms.
- New religions, some of which have unique mechanics – pagans have personal deities/cathars have their own church aspects.
- Altered diplomacy – different vassals, allies, historical friends and rivals.
- HRE is significantly larger.
- Extended timeline (end date is 1900.1.1)
- Some other minor stuff I most likely forgot about
Separate mention deserves the Anti-Blobbing feature, which is detailed more in screenshots. Basically, the more provinces you own – the more severe penalties you face, such as increasing unrest and state maintenance. Good luck forming Roman Empire!
Also, if I provided a COMPLETE list of all features and changes, that would rob you, the user, of joy of exploring and learning what this mod offers. Trust me – it’s big.
This mod also replaces all the loading tips with ones that explain more about the stuff that’s going on in my mod or just good quotes I found interesting to read while the game loads. Aesthetic replacements include different country flags, colors, names (Norway is Norge; Finland is Suomia) and loadingscreens. I wanted to make the player sure from the very moment he launches the game that this is a global overhaul (like some oldschool addons for games).
I’ve worked on this mod for months and most likely will keep updating it with content and potential bug fixes. While I do not require any technical help (I did and always will make mods on my own), I do however appreciate feedback and ideas about what should/should not be added in the future. What countries you would love to see, what new governments or gameplay tweaks – I will listen to community and take their opinions into account. Comments that blatantly insult me or my work will be deleted and posters will be banned, however.
