Description:

This mod was built keeping in mind all players (like me) who want to play a long campaign, with everything the game has to offer (All DLC), together with additional quality content provided by the community (new classes, trinkets, enemies, etc.), without the game losing that classic feeling of difficulty that the base game had.

IS THIS MOD FOR ME?

Attention, this mod is not for everyone, it greatly increases the difficulty of the game, you have to be armed with tranquilizers, because you will be very angry.
If you are a veteran player and want a more challenging experience without being so restrictive or deviating too much from how the base game was originally contextualized, this mod is for you.

COMPATIBILITY

I will be splitting the changes into three distinct mods, to maintain as much compatibility as possible with other mods (in this mod, no changes are made to specific items, monsters or heroes ).
The modifications below alter the variables contained in the file rules.jason and will probably not be compatible with many mods that change the same values (respectively any mod that changes the maximum amount of heroes quirks, adjust torch levels, quantity of trinkets carried or difficulty settings, since the parameters are located in the same place that this mod changes).

CONDITIONS

The limit on the number of deaths and the maximum number of weeks to complete the game are very restrictive parameters, the changes below aim to remove that.

Death Limit: 12 ⇾ 9999.
Limit of Weeks: 86 ⇾ 9999.

QUALITY ADJUSTMENTS

I consider that the speed of some parts of the game is very slow, specifically the animation speed, the following changes, aim to adjust this speed without leaving too fast or breaking the flow of things:

Combat Speed: 1 ⇾ 1,25 (+25%).
Move Speed:
>> Forward Acceleration: 1600 ⇾ 2080.
>> Reverse Acceleration: 800 ⇾ 1040.
>> Max Forward Speed: 400 ⇾ 525.
>> Max Reverse Speed: 200 ⇾ 265.
>> Deceleration: 1600 ⇾ 2080.

Scouting Speed:
>> Time Between Reveals: 0,4 ⇾ 0,1.
>> Ttile Reveal Time: 0,4 ⇾ 0,1.
>> Tile Content Reveal Time: 0,4 ⇾ 0,1.

TRINKETS

Now adventurers can carry up to three trinkets.

CHARACTERISTICS OF CHARACTERS

As in the old versions of the game, heroes can have 7 positive or negative quirks, and additionally they can lock all these quirk.

CHANGE IN ENEMIES

Enemies are more unpredictable and withstand more punishment, raring the possibility of oneshot.

HP bonus for enemies: +15% ⇾ +40%.

CHANGE IN EXPLORATION

Night ambushes will become more frequent for those players who are not adequately prevented.

Night Ambush Chance: +33% ⇾ +50%.
Scouting Chance Base: +25% ⇾ +20%.

CHANGES IN THE TORCH

Torch changes were planned with the aim of making the higher levels more predictable and open to strategy, giving the player a chance to choose their battles, while at the lower levels they are more dangerous and more unpredictable, but more rewarding.

(Torch Level 75+)

Stress Chance Increase 0 ⇾ 5%.
Stress Damage Increase: 0 ⇾ 5%.
Monster Damage Increase: 0 ⇾ 5%.
Dodge Bonus for Heroes 4% ⇾ 0.
Hero Scouting Bonus: 15% ⇾ 30%.

(Torch Level 50-75)

Stress Chance Increase 5% ⇾ 10%.
Stress Damage Increase: 10% ⇾ 15%.
Monster Damage Increase: 0 ⇾ 10%.
Hero Scouting Bonus: 7,5% ⇾ 15%.

(Torch Level 25-50)

Stress Chance Increase 15% ⇾ 20%.
Stress Damage Increase: 25% ⇾ 30%.
Monster ACC Increase: 5 ⇾ 5 (Inalterado).
Monster Damage Increase: 10% ⇾ 20%.
Gold Loot Increase: 10% ⇾ 15%.
Itens Loot Increase: 4% ⇾ 5%.

(Torch Level 0-25)

Stress Chance Increase 30% ⇾ 30% (Inalterado).
Stress Damage Increase: 35% ⇾ 40%.
Monster ACC Increase: 10 ⇾ 10 (Inalterado).
Monster Damage Increase: 17,5% ⇾ 30%.
Gold Loot Increase: 20% ⇾ 30%.
Itens Loot Increase: 8% ⇾ 10%.

(Torch Level 0)

Stress Chance Increase: 40% ⇾ 40% (Inalterado).
Stress Damage Increase: 50% ⇾ 50% (Inalterado).
Monster ACC Increase: 12,5 ⇾ 15.
Monster Damage Increase: 30% ⇾ 40% (Inalterado).
Gold Loot Increase: 30% ⇾ 40%.
Itens Loot Increase: 12% ⇾ 14%.

DLC – THE CRIMSON COURT

Bloody Torch of the Courtyard:

Bleed Resist: -10% ⇾ -20%.

Chance of heroes being infected by the crimson curse:

Crimison Curse Weak Monster Chance: 31% ⇾ 40%
Crimison Curse Strong Monster Chance: 45% ⇾ 65%
Crimison Curse Boss Chance: 75% ⇾ 90%
