Voltaire’s Nightmare: Germanic Expansion
Ever been playing as Prussia and asked yourself "I really wish I could better recreate historical borders"? Poland and said "How does x city not have a province?" Austria and pondered "Why aren’t there any Germans in the Sudetenland?" If so, this mod is for you! I started on this project about two and a half months ago with the singular goal of making the post 1815 Prussian borders look cleaner; but one thing lead to another and here we are lol. This is my first attempt at modding so there might be some issues I missed, if there’s anything gamebreaking just let me know and I’ll try to fix it in an ensuing patch. I really hope you all enjoy this mod as I’ve poured my heart and soul into it. Without any further adieu, I present to you, Voltaire’s Nightmare: Germanic Expansion
Key Features:
– Completely redrawn and renamed Pommerania, Sudetenland, Alsace-Lorraine, Silesia, Tyrol, Posen, Sudovia, Allgau, Burgenland, Galicia, most of Poland, and much more with added history changes as well
– Historical representation of culture in the Sudetenland, Alsace-Lorraine, Trannsylvania, and the Baltics
– More accurate borders at famous timestamps including all three partitions of Poland (with the fourth as well), Congress of Vienna, and the height of Napoleonic France among many others
– Imperial Incident for Brandenburg to receive the Electorate, similar to that of Bohemia (courtesy of HistoryPerson)
– Event for Brandenburg inheriting the Hohenzollern Dynasty (courtesy of SaGa)
