Description:

Orders of Manann adds two new units and a spellcaster to the Empire and Bretonnia, all part of the Cult of Manann, the sea god.

"The Knights Mariner is an order of templar-marines based in Marienburg, where they both guard the high temple, and protect the city and its fleets. The Knights Mariner are highly trained marines and sailors, and maintain their own sizeable fleet of warships which they use to keep the surrounding seas free from pirates and other raiders."

Knights Mariner are elite cavalry roughly equivalent to Knights of the Blazing Sun. Their blessed tridents inflict a slowing effect, making easier for them to escape masses of infantry.

"The Sons of Manann are the most numerous of all of Manann’s knightly orders, although they lack the prestige and wealth of their great rivals, the Knights Mariner. Clad in turquoise and white-enamelled armour, the Sons of Manann are a common sight in the coastal towns of the northern Empire."

Templars of Manann are defensive infantry that excel at withstanding attacks and taking down armored cavalry and monsters.

Both are recruitable from all level 3 empire ports, and available at level 2 special ports in Marienburg, Bordeleux, Lothern, and Erengrad.

Also adds a Priest of Manann, a hybrid Lore of Deep caster with access to certain Heavens and High spells. Available at all level 2 empire ports.

Bretonnian versions are only recruitable from Bordeleux’s Landmark Port.
