Legacy Children
Allows your heroes to have their existing legacy children as kids during a campaign, instead of generating new heroes when a kid joins the party during years of peace.
The following results are possible:
1 Parent
- If the parent has any valid children in legacy, the game will pull one of them for the child event.
- Legacy children in this case can be from previous campaigns’ relationships.
- If the parent has no children in legacy, a random child will be created as usual.
2 Parents
- If this couple has previously had children together and those children are in legacy, the game will try to pull one of those children.
- Legacy children who only have one of the two parents will not be pulled.
- If the couple has never had children together before, a random child will be created as usual.
Known Issues
- If a hero retires at the end of one chapter and their child joins at the end of the following chapter, then the child will be added with no "So-and-so’s child joined" comic event. I believe this bug will also result in the child being a random child, and not a legacy child.
Example: Rondo retires at the end of chapter 3. Rondo’s child, Rhonda, joins at the end of chapter 4. In this case, you’ll just get the "Rhonda is now a greenhorn so-and-so" level-up message with no accompanying comic.
