Messerschmitt Bf 109
Messerschmitt Bf 109 (1:1 Scale)
The Messerschmitt Bf 109 is a German World War II fighter aircraft. It was built more than 30 thousand between 1930s and late 1950s.
This model is based on Bf 109G-6 variant. The scale and the shape are as realistic as possible, fuselage is 3 blocks wide. For the first time I used LUA screens rather than dials or instrument panels in my airplane. Because I projected nine 1×1 monitors into one 1×1 monitor using camera. With the right distance and field of view in camera component, LUA and camera resolutions match, thus gives clear image rather than blurry image. Most of the LUA Screens are from the workshop, links are in below. However they may look different because I modified them to fit in this airplane better.
– Eighteen 1×1 LUA monitors projected in to two 1×1 monitors via high resolution cameras
– War Emergency Power (WEP) throttle setting
– Manual/Auto Propeller Pitch options
– Unsynchronized retractable landing gear (except tail wheel)
– Efficiently working flaps for easier takeoff and landing
– Auto pitch trim up when landing gears extended to avoid propeller strike
– Wing leading-edge slats (no aerodynamic effect)
– Radio
– Gunsight
– Drop tank (fuel)
– Feedback sounds for Pilot’s seat buttons
– Two Light Autocannon
1. Enter the cockpit and close the canopy
2. Starter ON
3. Parking Brake OFF
4. Stabilizer and Flaps ON (not mandatory but for easier takeoff)
5. Throttle UP
Note1: Highly recommended FLAPS ON when takeoff or landing to fly slower.
Note2: In auto mode, propeller pitch (collective) is 0 between 0-0.20 throttle (idling) and gradually increases to full at around 0.45 throttle.
