Cajun culture for French CNs in Louisiana and the East
Acadian culture for French CNs in California and Alaska
Boer culture, spawned through event if there are Dutch or Flemish provinces in South Africa
Colonial Iberian, for non-Castillians (i.e Aragon) anywhere in America
Colonial French, for French in America that don’t fit into current groups
I created this mod because I was bored of the old colonial flags, which have very little flavour, and because I wanted a range of New World cultures. This mod adds a set of decisions for colonial subjects to take that gives them their own cultures, and gives a few major colonial nations their own historical flags.
Cultures:
A number of new cultures are present in the game. These are converted instantly when certain decisions are taken, but should also spread naturally to replace other cultures in your nation.
British Colonial Cultures:
American (English in Colonial Eastern America) – This should be interpretted as Yankee, but I used the existing base game culture
Anglo-Canadian (English in Colonial Canada)
Nova-Scotian (Scottish in Colonial Canada)
Dixie (English in Missipi and South East Regions)
French Colonial Cultures:
French-Canadian (French in Colonial Canada)
Cajun (French in Louisiana and East Coast)
Acadian (French in Alaska and California)
Colonial French (French anywhere else)
Iberian Colonial Cultures:
Brazilian (Portuguese in Colonial Brazil)
Mexican (Castillian in Colonial Mexico, California, Louisiana)
Gran Colombian (Castillian in Colonial Colombia)
Peruvian (Castillian in Colonial Peru)
Floridian (Castillian in Colonial Eastern America, Canada, Alaska)
Cuban (Castillian in Colonial Carribean)
Uruguayan (Castillian in Colonial Brazil)
Platinian (Castilian in Colonial La Plata)
Colonial Iberian (non-Castillians, anywhere in America)
Dutch Colonial Cultures:
Boer (Spawned and spread by event in South Africa, works for Flemish or Dutch)

Colonial Brazil – Portuguese culture CN in Brazil
This mod will be expanded in future! Please note, many Spanish CNs do not have formables – this is because they have no distinguishing flags. Many cultures are compromises in attempts to best represent a region (e.g. Uruguayan for all of Brazil, Cuban for all of the Caribbean). However, I’ll probably add some finer detail in upcoming versions.
