This is the Mark II Upgrade of my Kronos Dreadnought. I learned a lot, both in terms of building pretty and in terms of building working ships since the first version, so an update was due.

Following modifications were done:
– Added 20 Frontal Artillery Cannons to deal with Legacy ships. Turns out that is the intended way to snuff out their cores (You might want to turn down your volume before firing).
– Added the new (EMP) Cruise Missile Launchers. Especially the EMP ones allowed me to get rid of the Heavy Laser Cannons. I didnt add the other new RE Weapons yet. They are really pretty, if I may say so, but i am not yet convinced concerning their performance, especially considering their cost.
– Weapon limits are no longer honored. At the end of the day I built these things to use them myself, and I ended up on a Server, which doesn’t enforce them. It is of course possible and always encouraged to change the Weapon layout (or really anything) to suit your own needs.
– Besides more Dakka from the sheer increase in Turrets, the new turret Hardpoints should also allow for better sight for the turrets.
– More Thrusters. The ship is still a brick. But it is now a 100 m/s fast brick.
– Rearranged the interior, generators are now at the mid-front while warp core and shield are at the back. Reason beeing the upgrades that are possible for warp core and shield with Reforged Eden. Those are just so expensive that I wanted to minimise the risk for them. To compensate for the slightly more exposed position of the generators the ship now has 9 Advanced Generators, which should allow it to fight on even if some are lost.
– There are now also some LCDs to help you find your way around the ship.
The Interior for bridge, generators and warp/shield got completely redone, subjectively improved. Minor changes to hydroponics and hangar.
I also removed some of the lights in the more obscure engine compartments, to at least somewhat keep the size class in check. Bring a flashlight if you are assigned to maintenance for those.
LCDs are modifications from sulusdacors LCD Library, so a big thanks to him for his amazing work!
Finally: This is not a META Build. If you don’t care for looks and RP-Value, you will find a better investment for your resources elsewhere.
