SAGA MKII

Developed in France by IFREMER and COMEX, SAGA is the first prototype of a new generation of industrial submarines capable of carrying out underwater operations using divers or robots at close proximity to the work site without surface assistance. SAGA (28 meters long, 550 tons submerged displacement, 6 crew members) has a hyperbaric compartment for 4 to 6 divers. The submarine was launched in October 1987 and has just completed to three-year qualification programme. Since May 1990 SAGA holds the world record of the deepest (-317 m) diver lock-out operation from a submarine.

The saga first appeared in stormworks a year ago. On February 11, 2019. But the construction of the saga had started about a week before that. And soon the Saga became one of the most downloaded vehicles of the workshop. Unfortunately about 4 months ago the saga became completely broken. So I decided to give a successor to this vehicle which has made a big impression on me. And this successor is here.
Speed => 10Knots
High manoeuvrability :
-2 rotating main thrusters
-6 auxiliary propeller
High diving capacity:
-The saga being a submarine nicknamed "the house under the sea."I made the choice to allow him to empty these ballast tanks to very great depths by sacrificing a bit of filling speed. It is therefore possible to empty the ballast tanks of the saga at a depth of 300m.
-4 adjustable legs in order to hook the seabed.
-An autopilot
– A stowage door on the back to be rescued by other submarines such as the URF or to obtain supplies.
-A cargo area at the back of the kiosk
-4 mooring line
-An auto-depht (which works very badly, a tip use it only to maintain your current depth)
-A tank divided into 5 compartments that can be emptied or refilled with water as required
-An escape pod for 3 people
-24 flair
-Weather station
I’ve built this submarine from an image of the real thing in order to be as accurate as possible.
It little however that certain liberties were taken to stick to the block of the game like the removal of the front windows.

And finally I’d just like to thank the people who kept the saga alive.
Of course it is forbidden to reupload the saga.
But be free to use it for your custom missions without asking my permission.
