Due to Starbound’s limitations, if you choose one of my custom snakey hairstyles you need to manually match the hair color to the scale color. There aren’t too many colors to choose from anyway (compared to some other mods), so it shouldn’t be a big deal.
The gif with emotes is a bit outdated, things look better in-game, I’m just too lazy to make a new one. For example, the pixel that gets in the way of some emotes is now fixed.
Other things this mod changes:
- Tech interface (sneks gotta look like sneks)
- Hissing hurt sounds (sneks gotta sound like sneks)
- Some Lamia racial helms (to fit the new head shape better)
- If your Lamia looks different than on screenshots, make sure you don’t have any other appearance changing mod for Lamia.
- If Starbound crashes during loading, check if you subscribed to the original Lamia race mod.
- If you’re subscribed to the Lamia mod and the game still crashes or the race doesn’t work as it should, the Lamia mod was probably updated and its .species file was changed (please let me know if that happens). I’ll just need to update this reskin, it shouldn’t take long.
- If you’ve done all of the above and something still doesn’t work, something else is at fault. This mod only changes sprites and a single .species file, it has no right to cause any more problems.
