Navigable West African Coast
This mod changes the unpassable section of water between Europe and West Africa into a navigable section of water.
Things to note about this mod:
-This is my first map mod, so if I missed something – don’t be too surprised.
-From my testing it appears to be save-game compatible.
-This mod (unfortunately) replaces the following files:
1. The "player_stack_locators.txt" file in the gfx/map/map_object_data folder
2. The "default.map" file in the map_data folder
-The name of the sea area is the unlocalized string "IMPASSABLE ATLANTIC EUROPE-AFRICA". The only way to change this would be to overwrite the definition.csv file as well – since I cannot simply add a localized string to associate with the unlocalized string since it has spaces in it.
I tried to made the necessary edits without overwriting those two vanilla files, but I could not make it work.
