Introduction:

This next iteration of the Vampire Counts Fine-tuned series aims to make extensive additions and modifications to LORDS and HEROES of the Vampire Counts faction, following the leitmotif of more meaningful and lore-friendly gameplay, raising the faction to be on par with its rivals without overreliance on cheese strategies.

Many skills and whole new effects were added, old bugs were fixed, with proper loreful descriptions, everything with a keen eye to keep the intended pace for the faction in an enhanced package. No changes were made to the base vampire lords, as they are an unfortunate leftover of the game’s iteration.

Crossover Recommendation:

More so than any other visual and gameplay enhancing mods, Vampire Counts Lords and Heroes Fine-tuned recommended use is in a crossover with Cryswar’s Leaders of Legend.

Thus, with Cryswar’s permission I have balanced the mod around these previous contributions and made my fine-tuning on their work (in what pertains especifically to the Vampire Counts) through a submod, in order to keep overrall balance with the intended “VC Fine-tuned” experience. You may play without the submod, as there are no compatibility issues in-between, but I highly recommend you to utilise both mods together with the submod VC Fine-tuned Leaders of Legend Submod that you get here.

Integration Disclaimer:

I’m pleased to inform that this mod integrates custom assets developed by jenosite’s Vampire Count Mount extraordinary mod.

I have obtained jenosite’s kind permission to integrate their assets in this mod, which could not be otherwise done through the use of a submod routine. This present work thus make use of jenosite’s “Guardian of Sylvania”, “Vlad’s Barded Nightmare”, “Barrow King Chariot”, “Chaos Dragon”, “Coven Thrones”, “Captured Templehof Luminark”, “Captured Luminark of Hysh”, “Banshee Bodyguard” and “Wight King Bodyguard” mounts.

I must stress out that for the purpose of this mod you only get to use these mounts, as most features of their original mod are not present (dilemmas, majority of abilities and effects, etc.) as they do not accommodate to this mod’s vision. Many changes were made, with a plethora of lore and flavour additions, including name, weapon, stats and effect scope changes. Keep in mind the Vampire Count Mount cannot be used together with this mod, as the integration effort entails total incompatibility between them.

Compatibility Notes:

This mod should be compatible with most mods, with the exception of those that override skill nodes and mess with Mortis Engine animations and models. Texture packs are fine. No, it is not compatible with SFO.

This is compatible with Aexrael’s Vampiric Resurgence. Also compatible with all my Vampire Counts Fine-tuned mods, check their collection and my workshop.

Avoid using alongside broad skill additions like Singe’s Vampire Counts Skills and JR’s Old World Skill Overhaul for they cause skill tree UI issues.
