Venetic Culture
Adds the culture (and religion) of both the Paleo-Venetians/Adriatic Veneti to the game, and of other overlooked ancient peoples of the Bronze age alps.
The Veneti were the pre-Roman inhabitants of the modern Italian region of Veneto, and were an Italic (disputed) people who, like their later Latin decedents, where famed for their mercantilism, however they were also renowned horsemen and horse breeders. This mod adds their culture and religion as an option to the in-game ruler designer, however, for obvious reasons, the culture and religion are dead at the start of the game.
This mod should be compatible with most others. If any mods are indeed incompatible, I would appreciate being informed!
Any suggestion or constructive criticism is appreciated!
UPDATE
More Cultures Added!
This mod has been partialy merged with Scorp’s Camunic Revival mod, and now includes a Camunic culture to also use in ruler designer. The Rhaetian and Ancient Ligurian cultures have also been added (with the Camunic culture being placed in the Raetic culture group, along with Raetian), and religions have been added, with the Camunic, Raetian and Venetic religions all being placed in a Cisalpine faith group. I have also added in the Liburnians, within the Venetic Heritage group.
And finally, the Proto-Indo-European faith and culture have both been added (to, in the future, give the italic cultures something to have branched off of).
To do:
(𐌄·𐌍𐌉·𐌅𐌇𐌀𐌙𐌔𐌄𐌃?)
– Review and improve added name lists.
– Expand Cisalpine religion group to include other ancient Italic faiths.
– Maybe add in the ancient Ligures, if I can find reliable information on them?

NOTES AND DISCLAIMER
1 – In regards to the Venetic culture and faith, I have tried to base everything off of academic sources, and have linked everything that I used to develop the Venetkens (the focus of the mod) in the mod’s Sources file, this is not the case
for the other cultures that I have added, of which my research consisted of relying more on wikipedia and online forums. Because of this, barring the Venetic culture (which I have tried my best to depict in the most accurate way that I possibly can) take the name lists and flavouring to the other cultures in the mod with skepticism.
2 – Anyone may use any part of the mod (excluding parts relating to the Camunic culture, faith, titles, decisions and events, since I haven’t developed these parts of the mod) without my permission, however I would appreciate being credited.
