Due to some limitations of the engine, the AI cannot use this unit.

You will experience a Crash to Desktop when loading a battle (in campaign or custom battle) against an army containing this unit.

For those of you who already started a campagin as any other faction with this mod enabled: I updated the script to automatically remove the unit from Belegar’s army. You should be safe to play from next turn.

Dwarfs from all across the mountain realm came to join the Iron Brotherhood.
They were drawn for different reasons, to protect the rightful king, to join the crusade to settle grudge-debts, or simply to prove they could survive in one of the most dangerous battlefields within the world.
Those whose martial prowess and dedication earned them a place in the regiment were given the ceremonial hammers forged in the Golden Age from gromril mined from the depths of Karak Eight Peaks.

What’s in the mod ?

Add the missing Iron Brotherhood as a starting unit to Belegar campaign.

How do they work ?

This new 7 men unit (each with uniq models and weapons) represents the last survivors of the Iron Brotherhood.

They are formidable against infantry, but should hold their ground against other units thanks their high armor piercing damages.

They come with two uniq passive abilities:

  • Runic Halo : strengthen the mind of the wielder and weaken the one of their foes. (see screenshot for more infos)
  • Full Gromril Armor: general buff (see screenshot for more infos)
A script wil automatically add the unit to Belegar’s army, following the rules bellow.

They can also be recruited once Belegar conquer Karak Eight Peaks and build his uniq landmark building.

  • Saved game compatible
  • Trigger at start of a new turn
  • If a hammerer unit is present in Belegar’s army (as in turn 1), the Iron Brotherhood will replace it
  • Won’t add the unit in case Belegar’s army is full (20/20)
  • Also works on AI
