This mod adds an active item to the game. It is based on the popular game that came out recently called Cuphead.
Counter Cup
"Projectile parry"
– Press the spacebar while near a pink shot to parry it.
– Parrying fills up a pink bar.
– Use 1 pip of charge while firing to send a large shot that does triple damage in the direction you’re shooting. This can be overrided with certain items (see below).
– Using all 4 pips of charge sends a white brimstone laser in the direction you’re shooting.
– Using all 4 pips of charge again gives you invincibility for 10 seconds.
– Using all 4 pips of charge for a third time cuts off your body like the Pinking Shears.
– After the third time, it cycles back to the white brimstone laser.
Extra Synergies
Having certain items can override your big shot. These are called EX moves.
– Spoon Bender (Chaser): Using 1 pip of charge gives you 8 flies.
– Ipecac (Lobber): Using 1 pip of charge sends out an enormous ipecac shot that does 2.5 times as much damage as your normal ipecac shots.
– Inner Eye (Spread): Using 1 pip of charge sends outeight piercing shots, similar to Tammy’s Head.
– Chocolate Milk (Charge): Using 1 pip of charge creates an explosion around you that does 25 damage to enemies and no damage to you.
– My Reflection (Roundabout): Using 1 pip of charge creates a big reflecting tear that does triple damage, and has 10 additional range.
