Skybox – Enhanced Terrain View
Allows you to right click and tilt the camera at the lowest zoom to see a beautiful blue sky and the world of Imperator Rome like you’ve never seen before! See your cities, great wonders, units, and more in much greater detail. Also adds a new map mode called "Pure Terrain" that won’t show province names or any map icons to get the best look at the physical world of Imperator.
This mod is an Imperator port of the skybox mod utility made for CK3 by Terrapass and Buckzor. All credits go to them for making this possible, all I did was transfer it over to Imperator. Their repository can be found here https://github.com/terrapass/ck3-modutil-skybox
Will NOT be compatible with achievements as it has to change defines.
Will be compatible with Invictus and 99% of other mods as long as they don’t change shaders. Should be last in the load order because it does need to change some defines and if they are overwritten it will not work.
NOTE: There is a bug that will allow you to tilt the camera inside of the map at some places that are too high, like mountains. You won’t notice it unless your on the lowest zoom and tilting as far as possible so it doesn’t really effect gameplay in anyway. This is a limitation with the game itself, if the zoom is lowered below a certain amount you can clip inside of things. However, in order to see the full effects of the skybox on flatter parts of the map I have left it so you are able to go lower, you are still able to avoid clipping by simply not tilting into it. Theoretically this is fixable and might be fixed in a future update.
