No Pop-up Animations
7.17.21 Update: Some users report they can’t sleep in a certain bed in one of the game’s endings. I’ve tried it multiple times with different characters and can’t reproduce it, so it could be beyond modding. If it happens to you, try unsubscribing from this mod, restarting the game and continue. This should allow you to sleep in that bed, and you can resubscribe to the mod again afterwards if you’re not planning to go for that ending.
5.15.21 Update: The mod should work in all version of the game and with any DLC (including Repentance). To activate it, after subscribing, go into the game, activate the mod, and then RESTART the game. The game needs to know that the mod is activated when it’s loading, so it chooses the clean giantbook file.
This is the original No Pop-up Animations mod from The Modding of Isaac. This mod removes the following pop-up-animations (giantbook) from the game:
* Pick-ups:
– Black Hearts damage
– White Hearts health-up
– All Tarot Cards (such as Devil)
– All Runes
* Items:
– BETRAYAL
– Dry Baby activation
– W*ore Of Babylon activation
– Dead Sea Scrolls
– Hourglass
– Mom’s Bra/Pads
– Flush
– Spider’s Butt
– Missing Pages
– All Books
– All Dice
– Mama-Mega
– Clicker
* Others:
– Rainbow Poop
And probably some more.
This mod does not remove the bed ZZZ animation since then beds won’t heal. And I left in the Super Bum animation because it’s so rare.
This mod does not replace the animations with shakes or flashes, it just removes them completely for a smooth game.
