Description:

This mod adds a bunch of items and trinkets based off things from the game ‘Monster Train’

Below is a list of every item added and what item pool they are in

Passives

BOSS ITEM POOL


Fel’s Remorse:
+ 1 heart container
+ 0.5 Damage
Spawns a battery


Herzal’s Compound:
+ 1 heart container
+ 0.5 Damage
Spawns a card/rune


Light of Seraph:
+ 1 heart container
+ 0.5 Damage
Spawns a chest

(You get a little treat for getting all 3 of these)

TREASURE ITEM POOL


Capricious Reflection:
Treasure rooms contain bonus chests and possibly a trinket


Infused Mallet:
Upon entering a room enemies have a random chance to take damage


Rules of Containment:
Upon entering a room enemies are frozen in place for a short amount of time


Sketches of Salvation:
Starting a new floor spawns 4 random charmed enemies


Railhammer:
Any time you gain soul hearts you gain an extra half a soul heart


Spikedriver Colony:
When you clear a room you spawn 1 blue spider for every room cleared that floor

SECRET ITEM POOL


Notice Stone:
Permanently gain a small amount of damage after using a consumable
(Works retroactively)

DEVIL ITEM POOL


Mark of a Champion:
Increase your damage by 50% on pickup

ANGEL ITEM POOL


Mark of an Exile:
Increase your health by 50% rounded up on pickup


Emblem of the Exiles:
Gain a Heart Container at the start of each floor

SHOP ITEM POOL


Freezestone:
On pickup If you have no item in your pocket item slot it moves your current active item into that slot
(pocket items dont work on Jacob and Eseu)


Strengthstone:
+1 Damage


Sapstone:
Slows every enemy in the room when you use an active item


Keepstone:
At the start of a floor you get the last card/rune you played
(only works properly single player and not Jacob and Eseu)


Heartstone:
+ 1 heart container and heal 1 heart


Major Refraction:
Gives a damage up, slight speed down and size up


Minor Refraction:
Reduces your size and gives a speed up

Actives

TREASURE ITEM POOL


Petty Theft:
4 charge
Deals a small amount of damage to every enemy in the room and drops a penny for every enemy killed by this

TREASURE AND RED CHEST ITEM POOLS


Rage Serum:
1 charge
Gain a temporary damage up that lowers over time

ANGEL ITEM POOL


For The Greater Good:
1 charge per floor
Permanently charms every non-boss enemy in the room

CURSE AND RED CHEST ITEM POOLS


Branding Rite:
1 charge
Lose 1 red heart to gain half a soul heart


Inferno:
12 charge
Causes a lot of destruction within the current room
(If used in the boss room and after the boss is defeated you will have flight in the boss room for the rest of your time in that floor to help prevent softlocking)

Trinkets


Golden Vault:
– If you have higher than 10 cents and take damage you lose 10 cents and block the damage
(procs for all players not just the trinket holder because im inept)


Refracting Lenses:
– A chance to heal half a red heart when you use a consumable


Dante’s Candle:
– Going to a new floor while holding this gives you a random curse
– The 4th floor you go to while holding the trinket causes it to disappear and spawn ‘Lil Dante’
(lil dante is a familiar that fires normal tears but at a higher rate than most other familiars)
(BUG: Doesnt work properly if multiple players have dante)


Bone Dog’s Favor:
– When you clear a room without getting hit you gain half a red heart


Grrrg’s Goad:
– Increases your fire rate a small amount for every certain demon related item you have (can go over fire rate cap)


Conscription Notice:
– Entering a boss room spawns you 9 blue flies
– The flies have a chance of being a random locust instead

Ice Tornado:
2 charge
Damages enemies randomly 3 times

SHOP ITEM POOL


Offering Token:
3 charge
Replace your current held card/rune with another random card/rune

LIBRARY ITEM POOL


History of the World:
12 charge
Reveal the map

SHOP AND GOLD CHEST ITEM POOLS


Lost Luggage:
No Charge
While holding this at the start of a new floor it spawns 1 coin, 1 bomb, 1 key, 1 heart and 2 cards/runes (Chance to spawn an extra random coin, bomb, key, heart, trinket and item)
Has no active ability

Passives

CURSE AND RED CHEST ITEM POOLS


Dante’s Cloak:
Increases your damage at the cost of gaining a curse at the start of each floor

DEVIL ITEM POOL


Wing Clippings:
1/4 chance, when using an active item, to recharge the active item instantly (Only works for active items that spend their charge instantly upon use)

Trinkets


Rationing Scales:
Drains your red hearts to 1 at the start of the floor and gain 2 cent for each half heart lost


Shard of Divinity:
When fighting one of the following bosses this trinket is destroyed and you gain 5 soul hearts (The Beast, Mother, Delirium, Mega Satan, Ultra Greed)
