Class 41 Prototype HST:
Available: 1972 to 1978
Weight: 68.5 Tonnes

This locomotive was fashioned as a one off prototype for the HST 125. Despite it’s purpose, the Class 41 prototype was used extensively to great affect, and continued it’s career long after it’s own redundancy as a test bed. Despite it’s role as a prototype, you may now purchase these trains for Dollars from the United Kingdom.
Class 43 HST:
Available: 1975 to 1987
Weight: 70 Tonnes
Top Speed: 201 Km H
Engine Power: 1320 KW
This is ultimately the pinnacle of the HST 125 project. This train is one of the fastest diesel electric trains in the world, and has served a very long career, many serving even to this day. Rugged and effective, a variant of this train was even used as the base for the Australian XPT. Available for Dollars from the United Kingdom, these trains are ready to deliver passengers across your republic.
MK3 Passenger Coach:
Available: 1972 to 2000
Weight: 40 Tonnes
Passenger Capacity: 80
These coaches were designed for the HST 125 project, and have served their purpose well. Initially built for the Class 41 and it’s successors, the MK3 passenger coach was used widely across the British Rail network, even being hauled by non HST locomotives. Despite the prominence and longevity of the design, due to a lack of disabled access and other modern features, the passenger car is gradually being phased out.
