1968 Formula One Season Mod (WIP)
Note: This mod was made on a basic laptop and thus screenshots do not include 3D models in races
A new mod for the 1968 F1 Season, the product of much trial and error. Features all the drivers (from F1, F2, Formula Ford, Cam-Am and World Sportscar Championship. Includes Driver, Engineer and Chairman portraits as well as sponors of the time. Also features future world champions such as Emerson Fittipaldi, Niki Lauda and James Hunt in junior formula.
Revised rules include spec front and rear wings to narrow the field, equal merit payments and a change to the points system, with only the top 6 drivers scoring points, as was the case in 1968. A revised calendar removes races which were not present in 1968 whilst also adding the likes of the Indianapolis 500 and Race of Champions.
For the best results, I would recommend the Formula Classic 60s 3D mod by Adelaxis (search for cars in workshop) as well as the Ford GT40 by Chris (also by searching in the workshop). These are the cars used in the screenshots.
