ZBD-03 is intended to replace BMD-3 and serve as part of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army Air Force. The vehicle is designed to be airdropped from Xi’an and other medium-sized aircraft when necessary. Available variants include Infantry Fighting Vehicle (IFV), Armored Recovery Vehicle (ARV) and Anti-Tank Missile (ATGM).
