Description:

This mod is made to complete the campaign of the Mortal Empires only at very difficult or legendary difficulty level for the imperial faction of the Golden Order.

This mod is categorically not compatible with any other other mod, the connection of any gameplay mod or mod for units is almost guaranteed to break it.

THE LEGEND of what is happening in the mod:

Malekith Sorcerer King of Dark Elves, through the mediation of Balthazar Gelt, attempted to negotiate with Karl Franz on joint military actions against Norska. Spies, oh, sorry, of course, the High Elf ambassadors did not stand aside in silence and with the help of professionally implemented intrigues, using the religious beliefs of Volkmar, not only disrupted the negotiations, but also forced the Emperor of humans to exile supreme patriarch on the southern border. All that Karl Franz was able to do in this situation was to smooth out the corners in the official version of Balthazar Gelt’s new appointment.

Malekith wouldn’t be himself if he couldn’t capitalize on what happened. The Sorcerer King sent several powerful artifacts and trusted servants to Balthazar on the border. The task of the secret delegation of the dark elves is not just to transfer gifts, but also to aggravate the conflict between the Supreme Patriarch and the Emperor. In addition, Malekith expects that High Elves, other people, and even Dwarves will get involved in this conflict…
Among the Dark Elves, "unexpectedly" there were very good instructors in combat training, who immediately began training Balthazar’s warriors. Malekith’s plans do not include the death of Balthazar. Sorcerer King of the Dark Elves by the hands of a disgraced magician wants to change power in the Empire and then finally capture Ulthuan with the help of the new Emperor and in the future conquer the whole world…

Will Balthazar be able to regain his position and not become a puppet of Malekith? Or will he play a role in the Dark Elves’ plans? Or maybe he will find a third way?

What is in the modification and what awaits you in the campaign:

The Golden Order has its own set of units that not only serve in highly mobile armies, but also fill garrisons.. Most of which use elven combat animation. Balthazar himself is armed with a halberd and clad in armor (a gift from Malekith) and also uses elven animation.

There is a new lord for the Golden Order, he is called the General of the Golden Order. It is this type of lords that you have to hire. No other lords will be able to effectively support the Order’s troops and are basically useless. Balthazar and the generals of the Golden Order have their own unique tactical (red) branch of skills as well as other unique skills.

There are two military technologies unique to the Golden Order. There is an opportunity to establish diplomatic relations with the Empire and other relatively good factions with the help of technology and the construction of the Cathedral of Sigmar building in the capitals of provinces. The effects of some buildings are changed, but they apply to all imperial buildings of the same type.

AI is seriously strengthened in mod. Chaos is preparing for an invasion by periodically throwing its armies into the world, whose goal is to weaken the defenses of the Old World and other continents. The Chaos invasion itself is expected at about turn 200 and it is also modified and poses a serious threat. Balthazar has time to build up his military and economic might before the forces of destruction invade.

The warriors of the Golden Order are spared from the negative factor of friendly fire. There is no more friendly fire for Balthazar’s warriors. This was achieved by replacing normal damage with fill damage. So don’t be afraid of zeros in the damage parameters of long-range weapons. All long-range weapons deal damage regularly, but only to enemies, this is clearly shown in the attached video clip.

A little advice on passing the campaign:

AI is quite aggressive and sometimes behaves extremely brazenly. First of all, focus on the development of your home province and fort. Don’t try to bite off more than you can swallow. This campaign won’t end quickly.

Public order is of serious importance for most factions. With good indicators, you get bonuses, but if public order is too low, then the uprising will be the least of your problems.
