Description:
Middle East Ops
Part 1: LYTHIUM
Type: Cooperative Mission
Version: First Release, V 1.0
Stage: Alpha

Description:
Welcome to my new multiplayer cooperative scenario. It is a remake of the old ALiVE cooperative mission [COOP 1-3] Middle East Ops. A lot of improvements and add-ons have been implemented and tested.

VERY IMPORTANT! READ BEFORE DOWNLOADING! I know people would ask me: why so many mods? Let me tell you: they are not necessary for your gameplay, but are very good for your in-game experience. They are almost all optional and provide the realistic content and experience you would expect, the immersive gameplay and the hardcore feeling you all deserve. The only needed mods are: Bulgaria in Arma 3, ALiVE and LYTHIUM. Other than that, I would like to ask for your response and feedback about a small issue I have. I was trying to add 2 more mods: voyagerCompass HUD and Virtual Projectile Sound Reality, but I don’t find them in my lists with subscribed and favorite mods. I don’t have all the mods in alphabetical order to the end. What could be the problem? I downloaded them again, but with no success. The download links are in my workshop in the old scenario mentioned above.

Storyline:
Both Greek islands, Altis and Stratis, and the Middle East, became zones of bloody conflicts for the past two decades. No one was able to establish a logical connection between both factions until now, late 2018. Both US and NATO’s agents finally managed to conduct a global research and investigations in order to prove their theory and opinion that have finally become reality. Both strategic regions of global interests turned into warzones for a reason – a freshly created Alliance between OPFOR and CSAT. The further help to each other and the assistance being provided, appeared to be the unexpected consequence of a long-term cooperation, hidden until now from the eyes of the world order, led by the ‘Great nations’. Terrorism, financial crashes, economical drop downs, dictatorial regimes and hunger led to riots, violence, uprisings, rebellions, revolts, strikes and genocide in both areas and in-between. At the same time they brought some new possibilities to the leaders of these countries to use. All this uncertainty gained time for joint military operations against local leaders and rulers, which has not gone unnoticed by the UN and NATO. The partner countries of the Alliance were already fighting against these opponents, but had to redouble their efforts to deal with this new united enemy whose forces had grown.
One of these partners was Bulgaria. This country sent troops during all conducted operations so far. The government had decided that this time Bulgarian troops should intervene and that they should not stand by looking at the sides, without joining the operations and participating in these crucial days for the union. This is the story of what had remained of a small Bulgarian unit of the 68th Special Forces Brigade.

The scenario includes:
– a story driven campaign
– authentic weapons, gear, equipment, enemies
– automatically generated enemy and friendly factions
– virtual arsenal
– revive system
– artillery support
– automatically generated missions
– tactical gameplay with open world
– 2 special tactical combat menus with commands and supports:
ALiVE & Drongo’s Command Enhancement
– team switch enabled
– very intensive battles from the very beginning
– added simple re-spawn system
– added more playable slots and characters (9 more) for all playable classes of the faction’s Special Forces unit
– units spawn position and arty position updated and fixed
– added simple objects and markers (for example both civilian and military Bulgarian flags)
– added all Bulgarian ground vehicles with re-spawn system
– added more civilian abilities for roadblocks, AI interrogation and search
– added a loadout save system
– added a HOST slot for the admin
– added 2 AI behavior mods
– added the “Weapon On Back” function
– added more immersion mods (which are all optional, but the gameplay is really better if they are included)
– added 2 different visible road IEDs scripts
– added a script for enemy AI surrendering (not fully tested, so I will expect your feedback)
